Doug leads HFHI’s strategic efforts to build the capacity of Habitat affiliates and national organizations to engage faith communities in its work of eliminating poverty housing. After a meritorious six-year career as a naval officer, Doug served as director of operations and executive pastor in Nashville and Virginia Beach respectively. In both roles, he provided leadership by functioning as the church’s Chief Operating Officer. He has participated as a conference speaker, panelist, or facilitator at local and national events. Doug holds a B.S. Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Public Administration from Troy University (Pi Alpha Alpha). He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Felicia, and has four adult children.
