The Artist Path of Resistance

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

How do our theories of change influence our creative work? How might resistance theology frame our understanding of vocation or calling as artists? How might being deeply engaged in advocacy and activism feed our faith and creative process and vice versa? What are the risks for artists in publicly speaking out and aligning themselves with justice movements? Participants will be invited to share examples, concerns, and challenges in addressing these questions and will imagine together the artist path of resistance in dismantling racism and injustice.
