Entering into the Practice of Lament

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Why would anybody want to practice lament? We want to be happy, joyful people. Yet part of the human condition is suffering—for some more than others. At its heart, the practice of lament is about dialogue with a God who is faithful, gracious, and merciful. It is commonly done in community, because the suffering we are connected to is not just individual but personal and communal. This session is primarily an experiential session about prayer, lament, and ethnic diversity.
