This gathering will review the current state of poverty in America and governmental responses to it. In addition to discussing the role poverty is playing—or not—in the 2016 election, we will review lessons learned from recent legislative efforts and the top priorities of antipoverty activists—particularly faith-based activists—in the months to come. We will also look for opportunities for joint collaboration and action.
