Music, Art, and Film Screening

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join us for an evening of visual and performing arts to enrich the soul and empower the spirit. The program begins with The Sanctuaries, a multidisciplinary arts group based in Washington, D.C., and features a screening of the documentary Milwaukee 53206. This film gives us a glimpse into the lives of those affected by mass incarceration in one of America’s most jailed zip codes. The families represent not only their city, but also people across the nation who struggle with the daily effects of incarceration. This special event ends with a discussion with the filmmakers and film participants.
