Responding to racism and xenophobia are core components of Sojourners’ work on immigration. Our work seeks to address the racialized nature of America’s broken asylum, refugee, and immigration systems as well as state-based anti-immigrant initiatives. Through this convening, we hope to provide mechanisms for constructive dialogue about immigration and refugee-related issues that Christian organizations can use within institutions and areas of cultural formation.
