Nina Lau-Branson

Nina currently works with The Missional Network in coaching and consulting, Fuller Seminary in mentoring and leading small groups in the integration of theology and practice, and in a private practice of spiritual direction (for individuals and groups). She is part of the leadership of The Table, a new church initiative with the Free Methodist church that seeks to discern and dwell with God in a gang-impacted neighborhood.

Nina’s coaching and consulting work is rooted in years of experience in organizational leadership, in for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including work on boards and in senior management. Her credentials include an MBA in finance and a CPA, which opened up opportunities to work with innovative, messy, and growing businesses, and in entrepreneurship with at-risk youth.

During the past 15 years, she has pursued a particular passion for communion with God, especially listening for the voice of God, and engaging in spiritual practices that enable availability to the holy. She has completed training in spiritual direction and is certified by the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center in mediation and conflict transformation. These varied experiences and skills are brought to bear in her work as a spiritual director (with individuals and groups) and in coaching leaders.

She is married with two adult sons and lives with her husband, Mark, in Pasadena, CA.
