Jenny Yang is the Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Policy at World Relief where she provides oversight for all advocacy initiatives and policy positions and leads the organization’s public relations strategy. She is the chief liaison between World Relief and the U.S. government, organizing public events and policy analysis for World Relief’s advocacy priorities while leading broader mobilization efforts for churches on advocacy campaignsShe coordinates and leads the organization’s media engagement and brand elevation strategies across the marketing, programs, and strategic engagement divisions both in the U.S. and globally. She has worked over a decade in refugee protection, immigration policy, and human rights and is on an active deployment roster for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Prior to World Relief, she worked at one of the largest political consulting companies in Maryland. She is currently the co-chair of the Advocacy Committee of Refugee Council USA (RCUSA) and is a co-author of “Welcoming the Stranger: Justice, Compassion and Truth in the Immigration Debate" as well as contributing author to five other books.
