Reggie Williams is an Associate Professor of Christian ethics at McCormick Theological Seminary, in Chicago, Illinois. He is the author of Bonhoeffer’s Black Jesus: Harlem Renaissance Theology and an Ethic of Resistance, which was selected as a Choice Outstanding Title in theology, in 2014. Dr. Williams’ current work continues to focus on the Harlem Renaissance by analysis of a black cultural product that includes theology and ethics and demands of us a different understanding of human being, and of Christianity than what is offered to the world by white supremacy. Dr. Williams and his wife Stacy are the parents of a son, Darion, and a daughter, Simone.
